Altohelix is a strong believer of developing our youths to be tomorrow's industry leaders. Over May 18-19, Altohelix hosted the 8 Globemaster Air Cadets, a local youth group, to experience flying drones. These cadets will in turn have the support to obtain their basic and advanced drone certifications. In order to obtain the basic and advanced operator's certificate, the pilot needs to be at least 14 and 16 years of age, respectively.
The Air Cadet program welcomes youths aged 12 - 18 to be trained in leadership, citizenship, fitness, and aviation. The program is a partnership between the Department of National Defense and the Air Cadet League of Canada.
