Prerequisites for the Flight Review
Attendees must have passed the Small Advanced Exam from Transport Canada Drone Management Portal
Bring with you to the Flight Review:
- Your drone to be used for the flight review and its Certificate of Registration
- Site Survey and Operations Plan (to include Emergency Plan & Security Plan)
- A copy of your Pilot Certificate
- A valid (not expired) piece of government-issued (federal/provincial/territorial/state government authority or the equivalent body abroad) identification that provides their name and date of birth. Valid ID are:
- a driver’s license that is issued by a province or territory or the equivalent abroad
- a passport
- a birth certificate or baptismal certificate, certified by the issuing authority, or a duly notarized copy. If the date of birth is not shown on a baptismal certificate,
it must be supported by a statutory declaration in which the candidate declares the date of birth - a Certificate of Registration of Birth Abroad issued by the Department of Citizenship and Immigration
- a citizenship certificate
- a permanent resident card
- an aviation personnel permit or license, showing the date of birth, issued by the state of which the candidate is a citizen
- a military identification
- Certificate of Indian Status
